Got this to use out at the fire pit. we were tired of using long kitchen tongs, that really did not work well. These tongs are Great, even better than I expected! Very heavy duty and great quality. I would highly recommend!

  2. I always enjoy cooking Hot Dogs over a fire. I find it nice and relaxing, especially when you have people to talk too

  3. what about buying the replacement grill rack — for inside grill you put food on it to cook and putting in the fireplace over the fire and cook anything you would normally grill some grills have multi racks maybe you could find replacement for them so food is off fire above it
you could wrap potato in foil to cook in the fireplace or chicken fish beef etc make sure you have the bar b que tongs etc to get your food out of the fireplace
by the way people who scoff at this idea of the questioner must remember many years ago this is how almost everyone cooked who wanted food cooked not every person had luxury of a stove
